CalJOBS
Register into CalJOBS, EDD’s computerized job system. Create a CalJOBS resume that can be viewed by employers and used for Job Match. Search CalJOBS for job opportunities in Shasta County and all over California.
Resume Building
Build the best resume for the job using our Job Centers resources, with advice from our knowledgeable staff. We have on site resume building software to create professional looking resumes.
Job Boards
We maintain extensive lists of listings and applications for employment with the City, County, State and Federal government, and many other local employers.
Local Resources
Vocational training, employment opportunities, child care services, transportation, housing, local programs, self-employment, and more… Help yourself to the brochures and flyers in our lobby.
10 Key Tests
Do you need a 10 Key certificate? We will set up and administer the test. No fee.
Typing Tests
Smart provides five-minute typing tests. The best score obtained during visit will be reflected on a certified certificate. Our certificates list the tester’s name, gross words per minute, # of errors, net words per minute, and the date the test was administered. Our certified certificates are recognized by the County Government agencies across the north state, the cities of Redding, Anderson, Eureka, and Crescent City, and many Federal Agencies. Testing is available at any of our locations.
