ON-THE-JOB TRAINING
The On-the-Job Training Program is designed to reduce the out of pocket cost for employers to hire and train new employees. This wage reimbursement program is available to qualifying employers with a full time (35+ hours per week) job opening. If you are an employer interested in saving money, call Smart today. YOUNG ADULT WORK EXPERIENCE
The Work Experience (WEX) Program is designed for businesses willing to mentor entry-level employees between the ages of 18 and 24 that qualify for our Young Adults Program. These young adults have had little to no previous work experience and are looking to develop good working habits and attitudes while increasing their self-confidence in a career pathway. This program covers 100% of Young Adults' wages, for up to 320 hours or 8 weeks.
FEDERAL WORK OPPORTUNITY TAX CREDIT
The Work Opportunity Tax Credit ( WOTC) promotes the hiring of individuals who qualify as members of target clients, by providing a federal tax credit incentive of up to $9,000 for employers who hire them. The California EDD is the WOTC certifying agency for our local employers.
